Keep all chat respectful and appropriate for all ages. The following are prohibited: • Harassment, bullying, insults, flaming, or hate speech of any kind • Racism, sexism, or any form of discrimination • Excessive profanity or inappropriate language • Spamming, flooding chat, gibberish, or excessive use of CAPS • Advertising other servers, websites, or social media — this results in a permanent ban with no appeal • Impersonating staff members or other players • Discussion of illegal or highly inappropriate topics • Provoking or pressuring others into breaking rules Up to 2 warnings may be issued before further punishment. If you disagree with a staff decision, contact an Administrator calmly — they have final authority.

All players must compete fairly. The following are strictly prohibited: • Use of hacked clients, X-ray, or any unfair modifications • Item duplication (duping) of any kind • Bug abusing or exploiting unintended server mechanics • Using autoclickers or unfair automation tools • Evading mutes or bans using alternate accounts • Using third-party programs to bypass voting limits • DDoS threats or sharing another player's IP address Punishments may be applied immediately without warning depending on severity. If you discover a bug or duplication method, report it to staff via the Discord #support channel — helpful reports may be rewarded.

CivSMP is a LifeSteal server — PvP is enabled everywhere, at all times, and you should expect to be attacked at any moment. • PvP is always on; there are no safe zones outside of spawn and staff-designated protected areas • TPA killing and trap killing are allowed — accepting a teleport request is done at your own risk and items lost this way are never reimbursed • Raiding is allowed; you may break into, loot, and destroy any player base using legitimate in-game methods • Griefing or raiding spawn, public shops, event areas, or any staff-protected zone is strictly prohibited and will be rolled back • Spawn killing is not allowed — do not camp the spawn area or repeatedly kill players as they respawn • Combat logging is not allowed; disconnecting while tagged in combat to avoid death will be treated as an attempt to evade the fight Punishments scale with the severity and frequency of the offense, up to a permanent ban.

Scamming other players is prohibited on CivSMP. • First offense: temporary ban • Repeat offenses: permanent ban • Providing a refund may reduce your punishment at staff discretion Loaned items, informal trades, and handshake deals are done at your own risk — staff will not always be able to recover them. Use the secure /trade system for all valuable exchanges.

Attempting to avoid your punishment will make things worse, not better. • Evading a mute or ban using an alternate account results in a longer punishment on both accounts • Evading punishment significantly reduces the chances of a successful appeal • Staff have final say in all situations • Rule enforcement takes into account severity, intent, and history If you believe a punishment was unfair, submit an appeal through the website rather than evading it.

Your hearts are your life on CivSMP — every kill and every death changes your maximum health. • Killing a player grants +1 heart, taken directly from your opponent and added to your own maximum health • Dying loses -1 heart, permanently reducing your maximum health until you earn it back • Reaching 0 hearts results in a temporary ban from the server • Banned players can be revived by opening a ticket, and any revive rules or cooldowns will be explained there • Farming hearts through alt accounts, boosting with a friend, or any repeated kill exploit is strictly forbidden Hearts gained through exploits will be removed and repeat offenders may be permanently banned.

There is no claim protection on CivSMP — your base is only as safe as you make it. • No land claims or protection plugins are in use; any base can be found, entered, raided, and destroyed • Traps are allowed inside your own base or territory for defense, including redstone, lava, and TNT-based designs • Build wisely — hide your base, secure your valuables, and assume anything left behind can be taken • Items and blocks lost to raiding are not reimbursed by staff • Lag machines, chunk-breaking redstone, and any build designed to harm server performance are strictly prohibited Builds that damage the server will be removed without warning and may result in a ban.

All members must follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times. This includes age requirements, acceptable use policies, and content standards. Violations may result in removal from the Discord server and a ban from CivSMP.

Treat everyone with courtesy and respect. Harassment, threats, or insults based on personal traits, beliefs, or background are not tolerated under any circumstances.

Disruptive behaviour is not welcome here. This includes excessive caps, spam, emoji flooding, reaction spam, or posting inflammatory and provocative messages intended to upset others.

For moderation purposes, please use English in all channels. If you're helping a non-English speaker, keep it brief and encourage them to use English. Do not use other languages to bypass the profanity filter — this will result in a mute or ban.

Do not share personal details about yourself or others — including addresses, phone numbers, emails, passwords, or social media handles. Doxxing (sharing someone's private information without consent) results in an instant permanent ban.

Using or promoting cheats, hacks, or exploits gives an unfair advantage and is strictly prohibited. Reporting cheaters helps keep the community safe and fair for everyone — please report via the #support channel.

All content must be appropriate for all ages. NSFW content, gore, or sexually suggestive material is not allowed anywhere in the server. Inappropriate profile photos or usernames must be changed upon request from staff.

Follow staff instructions at all times — they're here to keep the community safe and friendly. Abusing, harassing, or disrespecting staff members, directly or indirectly, will result in a ban.

Self-promotion is only permitted in the designated channel. Asking for follows, subscribers, or views elsewhere is not allowed. You may recommend others' content, but promoting your own outside the correct channel will result in a warning or mute.

Posting malicious links, requesting game or account sharing, real-money trading, or discussing cheats and hacking methods is strictly forbidden. Don't test the rules — staff reserve the right to act on any behaviour deemed harmful to the community.
